Lillie Beth's 1st Day of School

Our girl started school - Can you belive it? She has grown up so fast. She was so brave - didn't even cry. Jody and I both did very good - UNTIL we got outside and Jody said we just can't protect her anymore and that kills me and then we both lost it. Jody is on days right now so he gets to pick her up and he loves that. He said the best part is seeing her face light up when she comes out the door and sees him.

We had a big day yesterday. We were all at the swimming pool and while we were there Lillie Beth swam all the way across the deep end by herself. I got so excited I started squealing and scared her but that didn't stop her. She is growing up too fast........
The other people in the pictures are our new friends - Meghan, Morghan and their dad Randy. They are from New Albany, MS and have lived in Emporia, KS for 4 years now. Randy is a USDA inspector too. They live in the same apartment complex as us and we are so glad to have them here. The three girls keep us busy. They never want to be apart. The ones of me is on the deck outside our apartment. Jody said I am always taking the pictures and never in them.

My parents came to visit us and while they were here we went site seeing in Emporia. These shots are from the Emporia Zoo, it is a beautiful place the flowers are the best part. We also walked the bridge over looking the water fall. We had a great time and they feel much better seeing where we live.

It's Official!!!! We just got the best call. Aunt Mollie and Greg are engaged. We are so excited. We love you Aunt Mollie and Soon to be Uncle Greg!!!!!!

The long trip from Mantee, MS to Emporia, KS. We could have never made it without the DVD player. I will have to say that both of our girls did very well. Berkley set in Lillie Beth's lap most of the way so she could watch the movies too. Our dog loves TV and we usually have her screen hooked up on the other side of the back seat of the truck but we had too much stuff in the truck. I have more pictures of some of the places we have been in Emporia I will try to get the on here soon.

Cassidy and Lillie Beth in a tree outside of the baseball stadium at Ole Miss before one of the Big Super Regional Games.

Cheyanne, Lillie Beth and Berkley right before we left for the trip out here. They were saying their goodbyes.

These are all my babies in one shot. I know none of them look like babies but they all know they are my babies each in their own special way. Starting from the top left is Cassidy Jordan Neal, she is 14 years old, on the high school cheerleading squad, takes gymnastics and dance, loves to ride horses and chasing boys is her favorite past time. She is a beautiful young lady and makes good grades and better stay out of trouble or her Mom and Dad both will kill her.

Next on the top right is Cheyanne Lee Neal, she is 10 years old, would rather ride horses than sleep or eat and can't wait to get to start playing softball. She was just baptized a few Sundays ago and I am so proud of her decision. She too is a beautiful young lady, boy are my brothers both going to have their hands full when Cass and Chey run into boys just like them one day.

Ok, bottom right is Skylar Ike Neal and he is 6 years old. If doesn't involve dirt, riding bikes or Pop's Polaris Ranger (love to hear him call it that - it is too cute) he is not interested in it. He and Lillie Beth are inseparable when we are at Nena and Pop's and they both miss each other terribly since we moved. They have to call and talk.

And of course, bottom left is Lillie Beth I think you will see a few photos of her on this page.

Ok these are the last of the beach photos and believe it or nor I have still have hundreds , literally hundreds I didn't use. I just loved them all and it was so hard to choose which ones to share and not share because I would love to use them all.

So Beautiful and such a Daddy's Girl.

Three Beach Bums!!! Oh we had so much fun we soaked it all up as much as we could because we knew Kansas was a longggggggg way from the beach.

Uncle Bill and Aunt Tess (or as Lillie affectionately calls her Aunt BaTessa). All ready to go to the beach and Mommie wants to make another photo. Lillie loves her Uncle Bill and Aunt BaTessa so much she didn't mind posing for a picture with them. And we are so glad that the sharks didn't get Uncle Bill when he ventured out too far in the Ocean aren't we Aunt Tess.

Uncle Sonny and Anita. This was the first time that we got to meet Anita and spend some time with her. We really like her and I think they make a cute couple. We were about to all decide Uncle Sonny was afraid to let her around all of the family, I can't imagine why. Hope we didn't all scare her too bad. Don't hold Jody and Bill against the whole family Anita. LOL

Aunt Mollie and Greg (Or Glen depends on who you talk to). Our Aunt Mollie is so pretty isn't she? But, beware guys, if her boyfriend don't get you her 3 big brothers and her Daddy will so you just have to look.

The ocean was amazing we have never spent so much time actually in the water. I do believe Lillie Beth had the best ride in Town.

For Memorial Day Weekend '06 we went to Orange Beach, Alabama for the annual Blissard Family Reunion. It was 13 of us, Poppie, Nannie, Uncle Bill, Aunt Tess, Uncle Sonny, Anita (Uncle Sonny's girlfriend - whom we met for the first time and like very much by the way), Anita's son Spencer, Aunt Mollie, Greg (Aunt Mollie's boyfriend - whom we all think is a keeper for sure), Jody, Lillie and myself. We stayed for 5 days and it was the most wonderful 5 days. The weather was so perfect and the beach and water was more beautiful than we have ever seen. The water was so clear blue you could see all the way to the bottom. We found big, beautiful shells, sand dollars and even two hermit crabs. We will never forget the late night dinner and the funny appetizer story involving Poppie. And we can't forget the late night crabbing story where Greg learned just how much deer in the headlight reflexes that Lillie has and Aunt Mollie and I found out the hard way the hole Lillie fell in was big enough for us too.

I just love this picture. This picture was made on the beach in Gulfport in March. We were making pictures of the devastation from Hurricane Katrina and this happen to be one of the first strips of the beach that was reopened. It was amazing to look out at the ocean and the beauty of it and then turn around and see the devastation it could cause all at the same time.

Lillie Beth all dressed up for Easter 2006 in her favorite color Pink and bonnet that my neice Cassidy wore when she was little.

Let me start with our beautiful Little Cowgirl!!! She has her Daddy's big blue eyes and just like his they take my breath away. This is Lillie Beth in April, we were going to a rodeo in Vancleave, MS and she just looked up at me and I snapped this picture.
